How the repair process works
One EU point of contact coordinates the case from model identification through assessment, quotation, repair and return.
1. Identify the probe
Search the model in the catalog or send the exact manufacturer and model. A photo of the probe label or connector label can reduce identification errors.
2. Describe the problem
Describe the visible damage or image artefact. Photos are optional but can significantly speed up the preliminary assessment. Do not send patient-identifying information.
3. Preliminary review and shipping
MVS reviews the request and coordinates the appropriate next step. When physical inspection is required, shipping instructions are agreed for the specific case.
4. Technical findings and quotation
The technical scope, price and expected timing are confirmed after the available evidence or physical inspection has been reviewed. Work proceeds after approval.
5. Repair, testing and return
The repaired unit is tested according to the applicable repair workflow and returned using the agreed logistics route. Warranty handling remains coordinated through MVS.
