Website and technical logs

The website is hosted on Vercel infrastructure. Technical request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser/network information and security logs may be processed as necessary to deliver and protect the service. The site is designed without non-essential advertising or marketing cookies.

Enquiries

When you contact MVS, contact and case information is processed to answer your request, prepare a quotation, take steps at your request before entering into a contract, perform a contract where applicable, and handle related warranty or legal obligations. If the direct web-submission backend is unavailable, the form offers an email-composition fallback and the form payload is not submitted to the website server.

Data minimisation

Do not submit patient-identifying information. If an ultrasound image is needed to show an artefact, it should be anonymised before sending. The enquiry form does not request a serial number manually; a device label photo may be used later where required for case administration.

Recipients and service providers

Data may be shared only where necessary with hosting/IT providers, email providers, freight carriers, specialised technical partners or professional advisers involved in the requested case, subject to applicable contractual and data-protection safeguards.

Retention

Electronic enquiries are retained only as long as necessary for the enquiry, contractual, warranty, accounting and legal purposes. As an internal maximum for ordinary correspondence, MVS currently applies a period of up to five years unless a longer period is required by law or justified by an ongoing contractual/legal matter.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, depending on the circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to info@mvsmedical.hu. In Hungary, the supervisory authority is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
